Best iptv boxes besides Nvidia shield

by morapti

Hey Im a n00b researching dumping cable and going with iptv. My neighbor has iptv and has an Nvidia shield but he says the main reason he has the Nvidia is for watching UFC & NBA without any buffering. In his bedroom he uses goobang box he got off amazon, which is fine for tv. I will be mainly watching tv and movies. I am also upping my Internet to 300Mbps, which my neighbor thinks is more than enough. I was looking at the informir 322 and was wondering if it is good enough or is there something else I should check out

4K firestick with tivimate works very well for me

Nothing much beats the Shield.

.Next choice would be a Fire stick 4K.

I'm using a cheap Chinese Android box - Beelink GT1 Mini and it works fine. I'm using Helix as my main provider and The Players Klub as my backup. Internet speed is around 70mbps. Some days some buffering, other days no buffering - switch from one provider to the other and usually find it works fine.

I'm watching sports mainly. For streaming movies and tv shows I use TVZion app or Kodi with add-ons.

Formuler Z7+ and Z8. Best cable like experience for IPTV.

Apple TV 4K would be comparable to the Shield, IMO.

Dreamlink T2 Prime, Formuler z7+ or a Z8. These boxes have some of the best apps for watching IPTV if your looking for an experience close to that of cable or sat. I would stay away from informir boxes as they block certain portals.

Formuler Z8 hands down

A shield will buffer just as much as a $20 Chinese box. It's all dependant on your ISP, speed, hardwired/wireless

I have a xiaomi mibox. plays 4k videos flawlessly, I have a couple of iptv android apps installed and Kodi, which was the main reason I wanted an android box. I wanted to get the shield but it was too expensive, specially because I don't plan to do any gaming on it
