Tivimate is best but only if you are at least a tiny bit technically knowledgeable. To upgrade to premium on fire stick requires some outside steps.
Apps: Smarters, TiviMate, XCIPTV, STBEmu.
All will need sideloading using a tool like Downloader or ES FileExplorer.

As you can see, there is a difference of opinion over which app is "best." Actually, I think it's a matter of personal preference and it depends on what type of streaming appliance you are using. Why not try out several for yourself and determine which works best for you?
Tivimate is my go to. A lot of my clients use it too and love it. Best $5 a year. Very easy to use, great customization and very cheap if you want the premium features. Next would be iptv smarters. Just depends on what your needs are really.

Only a few days of 'hanging' on a few channels, changing VPN locations seems to have fixed that so I don't think it's an issue on their end.
