I'm looking to purchase something powerful for IPTV and this device seems to come up lots. I also like the fact it has many more features and looks like a solid device despite being a few years old.

I have many firestick 4K around house and recommend to all my clients. Never any issues. Shield is great, but is a lot more expensive than the 4K Stick.
If it’s just iptv Firestick 4K is the better option price wise. Although I would never trade either of my shields for anything else.
Yes.
Yes.
For iptv only there is no need for a shield.
Just purchased one of each. Edit: Formuler Z8 and Firestick 4k... Won some cash gambling on NHL playoffs so it didn't cost me anything. ✌️
Grab a mi box, they're pretty good. I have an Nvidia Shield and 3 or 4 mi boxes and their isn't much difference between them, unless you're buying a box for gaming.
For iptv only ? Get a cheap box or a mag 320
I have the nvidia shield 500gb pro and I love it. I got it the first day it came out. I had to pre order it as the store owners couldn't even get their hands on them. I bought the nvidia because of the gaming concept to it and you can stream games from you pc to it. You can play old sonic game etc..I have the firestick 4k all around my house and it's very good and simple to use but it could be very complicated for older folks so I sugguest if you register your amazon account with it. Don't forget to set a password for purchases incase they accidentally make purchases.....
Don't cheap out, fire stick is junk.
No...not if you use it for IPTV only...If you want to watch Netflix, YouTube, Kodi etc then definitely yes.
The Formulers don’t support Netflix HD...watching Netflix on a Formuler is just horrible.
If your only goal is to watch IPtV then go for a Formuler. MY Tv Online is the best IPTV app ever.
Yes. Get a shield and use Tivimate. It's worth the extra money.
