Can you survive using iptv with Max 20 meg internet D/L?

by JuanKniill

In the Country / Area that I am living, I am only able to receive 20 Mega download Max internet speed. Are there some subscribers that are also limited with there D/L speed and are they having success or constant buffering? appreciate any feedback. At this point in time I am not able to trial a service.

20 is ok even for FHD provided you can reliably get 20. We have 20mb but it can be a bit unreliable and we end up with buffering. If it was a reliable 20 it would be fine.

20 is plenty enough, maybe occasional buffer a second or two on channel change, but after it should be fine even for HD.

thumpertv

absolutely

Should be okay as long as no other devices are using the internet at the same time.

I'm on a adsl2 with 9mbps on speed tests and don't get buffering... it all comes down to the iptv providers servers and if they good or not. there are plenty of iptv to choose from with free tests.

More than enough. Get some trials and test it out.

I'm in the country and only get 10 down, and as long as noone else is downloading it works pretty well for me. You shouldn't have any issues with 20

You can have a friend who has really fast internet and have an android tv box with Emby running on it and connected to the modem via Ethernet cable. You can use their internet to do all the heavy lifting then Emby server just outputs the stream which can be accessed even in low bandwidth areas. Emby even allows you to step down the resolution so it can be viewed even on a shitty LTE connection with 1 bar of signal.
