so you want an m3u8 url that you can add to TvHead and this purpose is to what, record live tv.? right. The problem I see is that the vod comes included with the m3u8 url. I do have a panel with credits that creates the url but I have never edited one before. I will look into it. Wen I look at the panel it might be done but I will try it first before I give away anything. Sorry. I am a broke ass musician living on a fixed income with 18 grandkids. that url will have over 8K channels so now that I think about, may be too much work if even possible to complete the task
You don't need to scan to generate a list of muxes and you don't need to scan the muxes to generate a list of services. What I do is load the m3u list in your IPTV Network. Be sure to set "Service ID" to a value of 1. This will load all the muxes and generates all the services without scanning. Now you will need to add each channel that you want to map manually under the Channel/EPG tab. You can specify channel numbers and names as you wish. The only critical part is selecting the corresponding "Services" and "EPG source". It's a bit tedious since you have to do this for every channel you want but I only have about 80 channels so it's not too bad and you only have to do it once.
I would add that you might be better off filtering your m3u playlist to just the channels you plan to record. The TVH UI can get pretty sluggish with 22K+ "channels" to manage. I'm down to ~300 myself.
What device are you using this on would help.
