I’m about halfway through a year subscription but I was aware of the risk. A year sub is cheaper than a month of regular TV sub anyway.
Everything looks down to me, sad day for sure!
This is my main reason I never buy a year subscription to anyone cause you never know what will happen next with their services

Does anyone have a list of REAL providers standing? Lots of the alternative IPTV providers are just reselling/bundling Vaders.
Any other service with catch-up. I don't mean vod, just the ability to rewatch a channel from earlier or the day before! I always like the Vader system for that. Regards

Even though I dropped them recently it’s still sad, when it worked the matchcenter was the best thing going around, arguably best catchup as well.

I upgraded on the 30th and yesterday; less than 24 hrs after paying; it stopped working for me. After a reboot on my Shield, I went into the Vader Streams app and it asked me to sign in (I should already be signed in). It wouldn't accept my password. Not on the web player either. I bought direct and not through a reseller. I submitted a ticket to them last night. I just checked for a response a few minutes ago, and their website is shut down (minihosts.org), my browser times out.

I used Vaders in the past and while IMO it was a good starter service into IPTV, there are many less known and less advertised services that provide higher quality. These services have a presence buy they aren't over advertising and their names don't come up often when doing searches, which I feel is a good thing so they can fly below the radar. I've found with IPIV, it's not if someone will shut down, it's a matter of when will they shut down. As others have said, pay monthly only and have a backup or 3

I just switched from vaders like a month back so thank god I left when i did... Hard to believe they are gone for good.. Although, honestly, the service got to be so bad that I'm surprised they just didn't go out of business rather be shut down lol... But give dstv a shot while you're testing out providers. I use them as my main now and they don't have VOD so I'm a lot less worried about them getting shut down (could just be no difference but I suspect just like settv that VOD will bring unwanted attention). honestly though, with Cyberflix and CinemaHD and all the other free VOD apps, there's really just no need for VOD from tv providers, imo... Cflix and the rest of them will out-do any provider's collection because it scrapes the whole net and isn't limited to the providers private collection. Anyways, rest in peace vaders.... they had a good run but they just started not caring and letting their standards slip, it was only a matter of time..

I don't care about the money I've lost, we all know the risks. I am curious about who holds the payment and email details, Vader direct or the reseller? I assume the reseller holds the payment details and just creates an account using the username/password we provide which is all that is used to access the vader servers? Please enlighten me.
Seems like all big fishes are caught first It was Express in March and now Vader ...Express not making any headway in to Ca and Sports channels .....possibly more will follow ?
yep my vaders is down, im using a backup service logicstreamtv. different app from the vaders app, but it has decent channels and movies, tv shows.
i read in telegram they deleted all subscribers information before everything got seized. I used minihosts through the site itself recently and rajtv to start so hopefully that applies to everyone no matter how they signed up

Should i be worried ???
I used to be a vaders user for a long time , then switched to iptv007 because of the bad service vaders offered in the last few months ! my concerns now , what will happen with my information that was submitted to vaders including my payment ? what happen if iptv007 or other iptvs also fall down , WE AS USERS can this effect us LEGALY ? am in a country where you can get punished for using torrents or illegal softwares , does iptv also have this risk ?

Kind of a bummer. They've been on and off trash for a long time any way. Smaller services are the way to go if you want reliable streams for specific content.

Most Iptv will be gone soon.
People should not chargeback any money lost due to the service closure. It will negatively impact the entire industry due to resellers being the middlemen.
Everyone needs to calmly see what their provider, if not directly using Vaders, can do for them to help restore service on another provider.
Bankrupting all the middlemen will make alternative services suffer and everyone in the industry needs to pull together to make a smooth transition as operators can get a stable revenue from existing customers by just offering a month free to people.
The moral of the story is: Never prepay for more than one months service.
Customers need to understand that it’s a community more than an industry. But I do think a lot of resellers, especially offline resellers that go door to door with boxes and high premiums and want a year up front will be dealing with their customers chasing them with knife, so that’s a positive for online resellers. If more people used BCH instead of card transactions, it would be a lot easier.
