Vaders asking for money for defense fund

by RichAndCompelling

Vaders is asking for donations so that they don’t have to “give up names”.

Tamar1nd

Donation for what? To do a rm -rf / on their servers?

They should of had a automated destruction script for databases.

Blackmailing users now, eh?

In 2 months same old team, a new name and start all over again, as seen many times.

Its all false. Vaders service was going down hill, they decided to shutdown, keep the money, and eventually rebrand. It is not the first time an iptv service has done this. Asking for donations is a cover, they have made tons of money since they first started offering their service. I already knew this was coming. They removed vod because they messed up their entire catalog. They took on more customers than their servers could support, which is the reason for the outages and buffering.

MoonlightStarfish

I heard this same sort of bullshit on tvaddons. It makes no sense. They don't give you a reduced sentence for giving up the little fish. You have to give up your boss/supplier.

Scam don't do it

Here's their Telegram update from 9:51 AM EDT.

"we want to thank our partners, affiliates, suppliers, resellers and of course our loyal customers ( you know who you are....) - by now the authorities have the servers, but what they really want isn't going to be there. Everything wiped and sanitized. We'll try to provide a few more updates till we phase out completely."

And here's their Telegram update from 10:40 PM EDT.

"We're being pressed hard by Firms, therefore we have to amount a legal strong defense to not have to resort to giving up data...names. We're gonna post a BTC address for anyone who wants to donate to our legal fund. I know it's pathethic to ask for help especially when we've stranded a lot of you with no service, but any dollar amount will help. We'll forever be grateful."

any press release for server seizures. any concrete proof shown up other that a twitter and a telegram, I do not believe about the servers until there is proof. They probably were followed up the chain from Informir letters and got some letters themselves. The probably pulled the servers to risk any more legals. This how I see it. Once a thief always a thief.

The reason for this evaluation is that informir did get cease orders about certain servers. NFPS for one from that place with a Z. The sites that were listed had Informir block the STB on all units that were on that list. The authorities then told the owners of those servers to shut them down. Some did shut down some just used another address and kept on going.

My crystal balls always tingle when I hear certain information thus this is my prediction. Some more sites will be next and those are the ones with the biggest server list and been around for years and never changed their server addresses

In order for servers to be ceased, the courts have to be involved first. If no records can be found then they shut down voluntarily and I am rarely wrong. So Vader if you want a defense fund, provide proof that your servers were ceased or stop trying to con good people put of more money.

This service crashed and burned. Sucks for all those who paid yearly subscriptions, this is the main reason todo month to month.

iAmNotorious

Has anyone seen anything in the news about them actually being raided? I find this entire thing highly suspicious.

When I went to renew my sub in early April myvaderstreams was no longer offering subscriptions other than monthly. I usually purchased 3 month subs for a slight discount and found it odd they were no longer offering 3, 6 or 12 month subs.

Lolz. Scam -.- Give up names? Aint they "flushed" the all data? I remember years ago one torrent site went down and they got lawsuit etc...none of users IP/Email etc handed over because they deleted all information.

paulie07

Where is the "lol" button?

iptvfan

Vader should post the actual legal paperwork. It's extremely strange that none of the major anti-piracy bodies are publicly taking a victory lap. They all do that, all the time. Why isn't there a blog post on Premierleague.com, bragging about the takedown? They do that for each major bust.

Until there is paperwork, I believe nothing.

Mucka911

Just seen this as well I guess we should all be worried lol

Mucka911

Ya they said everything is wiped and sanitized off their servers IP names and resellers so it would probably be word of mouth to sell out others for reduced sentence .

thegameksk

So what's the best way to purchase streaming tv? I use other providers not Vaders but if my service gets raised I don't want my name out there. So what's safest way to purchase?

ewok-partisan

I wouldn’t sweat it guys, when SetTV went down due to legal action there wasn’t any end users targeted. Some of these services have thousands of users. I can’t see them going after people individually.

jamezee777

Blackmail 101.

Zorrozip

From a legal perspective, they would have auto deleted all those names because the more "names" or users will result in a higher fine or penalty.

hddbunker

And what if they revealed customers information !? i used to have vaders and now am on iptv007 so who cares !

its like a DRUG dealer and the consumer who get punished is the DRUG dealer because he committed a crime while Drugs consumer have committed only a mistake ! dunno if this makes sense lol

gjoe1974

Give the names. Idgaf. We are streamers. We assumed the provider had legal rights to the content.
