Honestly, the Samsung platform is way behind the Android platform. I would recommend an Amazon Fire Stick 4k and throw Tivimate or Perfect Player on it.
Even when apps are both available for Android and Samsung, the Android versions work WAY WAY better.

haha, I call mine... my " Slapsome" tv... altho 'smart' I prefer to use my little Pipo computer to send content to it... but, when it decides to just Keep stop/starting... I give it a healthy SLAP to the back near the USB ports, according to internet, .. this latest Slap has kept it working a couple weeks! will NEVER buy another samsung product....

SoPlayer app for Samsung TV, works pretty good with LogicstreamsTV but only trying the 1 day trial because i'm looking for a new IPTV provider but so far, so good.
I have smart iptv app and had for a while stb emu , smart iptv is way better, easier to use . Have the same smart iptv on my nvidia shield and tivimate but always go back to native snart iptv app on my tv as the picture quality is the best there. As someone said earlier no wonder they sold milions
Both options are terrible. Buy a box.
