Please make me eat crow: Vader Conspiracy

by Ohmybahgosh

Look, I'll eat crow and publicly say I was wrong, but I'm getting tired of these conspiracy theories with zero evidence.

Vader had to be grossing 1-2 million a month, despite people complaining about buffering issues. People were still constantly signing up, and the chat groups kept growing and growing. In eight years, I've never had a service that didn't buffer somewhat on some channels. For what I used Vader for, I rarely even had issues.

People keep saying they took money and ran, yet they would of kept making a shit ton of money.

Not to mention, I'd say 90% of their subs came in thru a reseller, who was getting, I'm guessing, at least 30% of the subscribers payment.

This makes absolutely no financial sense to turn down millions a month, when staying open another year would provide them an additional $12-25M in sales.

So, if someone can clear this up with actual proof, I'll grab a pitch fork, and eat crow.. But, until then, move on. Have people forgotten they're playing around in a illegal / gray legal arena?

update changed "making" to "grossing" because it's reddit, and people focus on the wrong thing.

What does it matter? Vaders is gone. These entitled snowflake whiners lost 10-15 bucks subbing to an illegal pirate IPTV service, and you'd think the world had ended.

  1. Do you have a source for this figures ($1-2 million per month in revenue)

  2. People are saying that they took the money and run, because a) this has happened numerous times in the past and b) there is no evidence that support the official story about them being raided/sued etc.

The conspiracy theorists come out every time a provider shuts down. This isn't anything new. Some people just don't want to come to terms with the fact that an illegal operation doesn't actually owe you anything even if you've paid them your money

Alternatively, and this is just a theory, they didn't get busted but maybe either got wind of something going down or got spooked by what happened to set that they made a decision to disappear and reorganize, rebrand into something with less notoriety. In other words it's somewhere in the middle of the they got raided theory and the scam everyone out of money theory.

How do you know how much they were making?

Wow 1-2 million a month would be a super income. I highly doubt any Illegal IPTV provider gets that much. I'm sure there has to be some good profit for the ones running the servers but that much? I don't think so. Funny thing is that these providers always claim no profit and that they just do it for fun in the chats when people complain, they are like. Come on is only $15, stop complaining. Plus we mods don't get pay anything. We do this for fun lol

If I were guessing I'd say the IRS might have been looking for them too. Assuming they were stateside, that's a very large amount of cash flow to not at least tip a red flag or two
