I also have crystal clear service and noticed about a week ago the VOD is gone also. Tried emailing them with no response for a few days.. What happened? they are just screwing us over now? I still have a few months left tooo and am only receiving live tv now. I'm also in Canada

I have used Ok2, ipguys and crown. Ok2 works the best for me. They all have vod. The only issue with OK2 on a mag box is you can't reorder/move around your favourites.

That sucks! Wonder if any good ones are still available with VOD

Even if you take an Android box, you can download a MAG emulator, and it works even better than original one, fast channel switching able to select an External Player.

Switching away from your mag wont bring your vod back from Crystal Clear. Epic Streams works very well on a Magbox and has the Vod section.

Star is similar to gold, but gold is hands down the best with reliability and overall content wise.

Ok2 wasn’t that great when I tried it about a month back, so not sure if those boosting it are simply resellers of that service.

Security is a risk with any mag device but also with VOD. Watching US UK channels is still legal in Canada but not Canadian tv. Vod is illegal almost everywhere and puts your provider at risk and you should also see series starting to disappear too. I predicted this 2 weeks ago about vod and I got so many bad karma hits for it but I am right and as far as the Mag boxes go well how is this for a risk. Every Mag box has a call home code that authorizes your iptv provider. When a country puts an order for stoppage they deactivate your STB and your box is a door stop. There are some fixes but who cares they can put in a court request to grab every boxes information then go after your provider and then in your country they can go after u for VOD, Series and Canadian channels.

Mags are bad Get a dreamlink and you can choose your apk to watch. I Have bad feeling about any devices that uses a MAC address and the dreamlink T2 prime has a mac but you do not need it. I only use a good android box with iptvsmarters pro. Shields are good I am told but they cost about 60% more than a T2 prime.

The more popular iptv becomes the bigger the risk is so start now and think about safety. You do not want the Dreaded "LETTER" that will be costing about 10 grand. It is already happening in some countries

Mag 256 is still a great box, just switch service. StarTV, GOLD, OK2 are popular in Canada. Not sure which one has the better VOD.

If your goal is to switch between providers quickly Tivimate on the shield is the way to go as it supports concurrent connections and you can jump between providers in the same session.
