A lot of people use the dreamlink boxes but my TV has the IPTV app. Do people get the box because they dont have the app or is it for another reason?

I use the smart iptv app on a Samsung, greatest app ever

Some (most, these days) providers have their own apps, which usually can't be sideloaded onto a smart tv, but they can be sideloaded onto a box. I have Samsung smart tvs, but I never use their smart functions.
