Getting Archive to work in Perfect Player

Question

Quick story: I had vaders. Used Perfect Player. LOVED my setup. One of the things I use a lot is the catchup feature, which appears in Perfect PLayer as "archive."

So I'm trying some new services. Currently I'm trialling Cyclone Streams, because they do offer catchup on a lot of channels. But when you use the standard m3u url they provide, the archive function doesn't appear in the perfect player menu.

I read somewhere that adding |catchup=xs will work. And it KINDA does. I added it to the end up the URL, and it does make the archive option appear, but if I try to select something from the history, it just comes up as a black screen.

If you were able to follow all that mess that I just wrote, thank you. Any suggestions?

I've found if you add, |catch-up=xc to the end of your m3u it enables catch up to work in some instances. My provider has catch up but not in perfect player. I added that to the end and all the channels that have catch up enabled now work through perfect player.

Can you switch to a different player in PP? If so try that, had the same issue in a native apk, switched default player and it worked.

Your provider has to have cach up activatd in PP I trailed about 10-15 services that had cach up ie mags and smart iptv but only one or 2 vadars being one worked in PP and yes you have to have xc=catchup added to the end of your url. Bit of a led down by providers as I think pp gives the best experience
