IPTV-EPG

by OriginalOne13

Stumped here, and hoping someone can help. So, I have an IPTV service, I use Simple IPTV on Kodi to watch. This add on requires an M3U and XMLTV file. My service's guide data was not up to par so I used some other services to organize and create an M3U file with ID data for the program guide. Got that organized and the way I want it, can anyone tell me how to get an XML file for the data I have so I can have guide information?? Tried to use web grab+ but couldn't figure it out. Was hoping there was a way to generate the file from the M3U since it already has the ID data. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's a new dev that's created an XMLTV EPG for IPTV users. I just got a sub (it's super cheap) so gonna try it out, but JIC you're interested, here's the site link...

He has a Discord channel as well for support (just go to contact and he'll send invite)

Have you looked at xtreme-editor?

If you go to the perfect player website and look under FAQ the developer has some info on what I think you need.

I use xtream codes. You upload your m3u file and you just leave the guide data blank. It generates and matches the channels for you. At the end it pumps out a new m3u url and XML url for guise data. You can then import that into Emby or perfect player or tivimate. Works like a charm.

I mean yeah you Pay for a low yearly fee but it’s worth it.

Biggest EPG problem I have is with MLB, NHL and NBA. Would love it if I could figure out how to get the EPG working for those channels
