Never purchase a year iptv subscription, ask the folks who purchased a year thu Vader’s why you shouldn’t. 3 month max. Just some friendly advice.
Weird. I've never heard of any of "the big 3" in the streaming world.
What are the big 3?
I've been subscribed to SS (L247) for a while now, and I lucked out getting in when I did. In the last year, there have only been two openings, one at the beginning of NFL pre-season in early August, and another series of deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. They warned at that time that it would be a while before there were more openings. They usually save them up for special occasions, so it's not likely to see them open up out of the blue. But keep monitoring their twitter....that's the ONLY way they will announce it.
If you're a die-hard sports fan, SS is a must have service. Superior quality, very stable. If you're looking for anything else, look somewhere else. They are not very focused on non-sports programming, in fact they will cut off a regular channel mid-stream to put on a sporting event. Beware of what you're getting into if you do get the chance.
Shhh dont ruin it for the rest of us. Soccer fans get everyone shut Down
Oh man.. you make me laugh.
Reminds me of the Miami Heat days when Lebron joined, and called it the Big 3.
But after re-reading this post you make me laugh, yet sad again.
You are the typical guy who I hope never joins, as you cannot even get the twitter handle correct.
That said, don't correct it, less publicity please and thanks.
I got in on Black Friday. Keep on the Twitter feed it’s the only way they announce when subs are open to new members.
Yay, another one of these threads. Which are usually always written by somebody with little actual comparative experience in regards to the testing of other services (at least of the effort variety worth a dang), or somebody on the outside looking in who so desperately wants to believe that the "perfect sports option" is out there (spoiler...it's not) that they readily gobble up this pile of exaggerated stuff being spooned feed out to them and then just repeat it as if it's actual fact.
The reality is Smoothstreams is a solid service today, but hardly one who actual lives up to that level of hype. Outside the hyberpole, you'll even find a lot of people with Smoothstream accounts and who either already carry or are still always on the lookout for other providers for sports (many which carry the same level of quality on a lot of their stuff) because it's not nearly as bulletproof as being implied here, much less the "closest you can get to actual cable without actually paying for cable".
But like Eternal TV, when people can't readily have something or somebody wants to highlight the fact that they have something others don't...myths tend to get built up around them here :)
