1080p 60fps??

by nunsinbondage

I mostly use Beast, GearsReloaded and Ologytv... Quality is good... (Gears needs some work though, mostly 30fps).. I noticed that all the clear good quality channels are always 720p 60fps... all the 1080p streams are 30fps..... Does anyone know of a provider who is somewhat stable.. but has 1080p at 60fps streams?? I would be interested in hearing who may offer this and anyone's opinion on the streams/service.. Thanks in advance for the advice..

You are asking too much from these fly-by-night providers and let's face it, they are all fly-by-night with very limited resources and illegal operations and cheap prices. Bitrates are definitely an issue. Most streams from these providers top out at around 5-6mbps which is barely enough for 720P at 24 frames let alone at 60 frames. Think about it, for a good picture at 1080P at 24FPS (typical down-converted BR movie) you need around 10-12mbps. These streams are all bit-starved and unless providers up their bandwidth capacity significantly (which cost a lot of money), they will always be of poor quality.

You can always check the info box on the right side of wikipedia to see the native picture format.

For example, HGTV: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HGTV

Wikipedia says they broadcast in 1080i. That means 1080x30.

  • 1080p = 1920x1080@60 (50 outside of NA)
  • 1080i = 1920x1080@30 (25 outside of NA)
  • 720p = 1280x720@60 (50 outside of NA)
  • 720i = 1280x720@30 (25 outside of NA)

Generally speaking, your two options are 1080i or 720p. 1080i provides better picture quality, but worse motion for sports. That's why sports channels are usually 720p.

If you want to get into pixels-per-second, a useless measure of quality, 1920x1080x30 = 62,208,000 and 1280x720x60 = 55,296,000. So they are basically pushing the same number of pixels per second, one is better for detail while the other is better for motion.

Some IPTV providers upscale 720p to 1080p, but they can't make pixels where none exist. It doesn't improve quality any more than zooming in on an image file enhances the image.

Or is it Bitrate issues as well?

You seem certain that there are 1080p60 television broadcasts, and while there may be somewhere in the world, English language channels from US/Canada/UK are not. The best you can get is some 1080p50 from the UK

Providers dont want to invest in better equipment because at any time they can be shut down, honestly I dont even care your paying 10 bucks month what do you want

Channelhopper1984

You guys on crack 20-25 a month what are you providing sky or cable. You do maintenance on the services every day to keep.it running then if that's the case you ain't got it set up right as you dont need to do maintenance on it every day. Servers being restarted messing and knocking the service off while there watching ain't worth $1 a month by the sounds of it

The max you will.be getting from an iptv provider is 50fps streams

A lot of legit broadcasters (aka Cable providers) don't even offer 1080p streams at 60fps. Most cable providers provide streams at 1080i which is 1080 resolution but 30fps.

720p streams at 60fps is actually very decent, even on newer tv's as long as the bitrate is high. That's where the problem lies. Most services cut back on the bitrate because it cuts back on the bandwidth.

Find yourself a decent provider that carries higher bitrate 720p streams and you won't notice its not 1080.

Most 1080 streams are lacking bitrate anyway. Id rather watch a 720 stream with a cranked bitrate then a 1080 stream with a lower bitrate.

I can't tell you how many times i've watched a 720 stream that looked better than a 1080 stream.

Cliff notes... Bitrate > Resolution.

Is nothing to do with investment or better equipment.. They all , I mean all iptv providers, buy channels in bulk and restream ,that and nothing they can do to improve the quality or framerate,

Pete_LiveTV

Message me I’ll get you set up with a trial and you can test it out yourself.

Pete_LiveTV

I offer an IPTV Service that offers that. And it’s $25 a month and you also get a free 24 hr trial. There’s always maintenance being done so it’s stable and always up working.
