BuzzTV Xpl 3000 VOD not working?

My dad bought this box about a week ago, friend set it up for him and everything, no issues. He was excited to be able to get Avengers Endgame even though it just hit theaters. I convinced him to watch Infinity War first cause Im a good son. However, about 2 days after this, the VOD function appears to have stopped working. It initially showed somewhere in the range of 5000+ movies and now shows zero, along with no categories. The Live tv function still works but only has one of the marvel movies on it.

His friend told him that the service was down for updates or something but its been over a week. I just wanna know if my dad got taken for a ride, or if there something he can or should do to fix this. Like maybe he missed an update or something. Or if it is actually just getting updated and he just has to ride it out

What service is he using? Some providers have removed VOD.

I would see if you can find the move elsewhere. vod is going down on most providers.

Maybe the VOD got removed as this is the norm with a lot of the providers atm due to the heat.

It's the provider as many are getting rid of VOD. I have a Buzz box and use two providers. One provider has VOD and it works fine...the other provider recently removed it and there isn't anything there.

Beams TV and The Players Klub are still offering VOD services with their IPTV services. Both have large libraries of both movies and TV series content and both update their libraries daily.

How much longer these providers continue to offer VOD it is anyone's guess but you can find both services with relative ease via standard search methods in google and here in Reddit. There are other services offering VOD as well but I am familiar with these two only because I am a subscriber to both services presently. Happy streaming regardless of which service you may find to replace your lost VOD functionality.

If your using OK2 they are moving titles from 1 server to the next, theres a msg saying itll be fixed sometime this week for the VOD.
