Any US IPTV providers that aren't application locked

by atmafox

Hello,

So I'm looking for a provider I can plug into my existing whole-home DVR setup for a common UI and configuration. What can I say, I'm a sysadmin on my day job so I like to do stuff cleanly.

Anyway, I've looked around and basically I'm trying to find some, any generally available IPTV provider that isn't all locked up in their own app. Sling and Philo seem great in that regard but they're each app-locked. Or browser-based, which also doesn't work so well but might be doable depending on how the HTTP calls work and what they expect to run JavaScript wise.

Short form... it's hard finding these; any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Any provider that supplies an m3u URL will work for you.

E: Most have branded apps, but you’re generally not forced to use them.

Just so you know, the only providers that provide m3u links are what I would call "unauthorized distributors". Their service is black market and thus is very cheap but with little or no support and plenty of buffering and down time. While it is very worth while if you are in that sort of thing but make sure your set your expectation levels appropriately.
