New Samsung Q900R & IPTV, any recommendations?

Hello guys,

Got a quick question, I have been trying all day finding the best iptv app for my new Samsung tv.

  • Do you have any tips for an app where I can control the aspect ratio for th vod/movies ?

So far the best app I found is NETIPTV, super fast, But VOD/movies are 4/3 fit to screen it seems and since its a source app, the tv menu for picture settings are grayed out so can't force 16/9... Same thing with SMART-STB.

The most promising is app SMARTUP, which has every options I need, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to add a playlist, official website is useless :-/

I would appreciate any app recommandations :)

Android box, no more to say. I just switched from smartiptv smartstb to shield few months ago. There is no comparison. I would recommend box over iptv apps... always.

Iptv Smarters is really good. I believe that's on Samsung Smart TVs now.

Smart stb on Samsung works perfectly with express and bunch of other providers.

Just check if you have it in the App Store.

As for anyone saying switch a android box...no...you won’t be able to use the simple remote to do things like search, favorite and sort unless you do let remapping with annoying remotes.

IPTV best experience is honestly on MAG boxes and secondly on SmartSTB.

STBEmu is a great solution only if you have a android box that has native support for the colored buttons, and no i don’t care about all your other features of the boxes, because convenience is killed.

Also MAG/SmartSTB and even STBEmu (when used on a fully compatible box) offer the best experience from my years of experience, no other app seems to deliver better continuous experience.
