samsung tv

by ce1vin

Have just bought a new samsung smart tv and wondering what my options are?

Do they work with the an app for iptv as in epg vod etc.

I can go down the path of buying a box but bank balance wont allow it at the moment!!

Just wondering what other users opinions of purely tv based iptv are??

Cheers in advance

smart stb is the best option

If it's a new model, the Samsung App store will offer several IPTV apps.
Smart IPTV is a pretty good one, costs 5$ and has a decent interface.
Activation and configuration of playlists is done via their website.
Multiple playlists can be added, only 1 EPG link. However, it seems to find EPG info on its own too. Trial period of 7 days.

Did u get an N series model or the newr R series one? I have a MU 7000 and smart iptv app which according to some reports is removed but u can searxh on ur own it may be available on ur region. It costs 5$ for lifetime activation. It has epg support but its a very basic app gui is not that great.

Smart stb emu is a better one free for 7 days then they ask u for like 27$ for activation which imo is a lot. Recently i have seen a similar app to siptv call net iptv

If u are looking for a free one try ott player its russian based but they do have the site in english and u can add many playlists

I found that there is no option for subtitles with smart stb, is there any workaround?
