It would be app specific not provider. I have tried IPTV Smarters, GSE, mrmc. and iPlaytv and prefer iPlaytv . It’s all personal preference. Try them out and see which you prefer. The same goes for providers. Do a little research, try a few out and see which you find meets your needs.
Try out XstreamZ.com . Can use smarters ios or GSE. Only user/pw/portal needed.
All providers can give you URL for Apple TV.

iPlayTV is by far the best app on Apple TV.
Any provider that offers you an M3U will be able to work on your ATV. ATV now has IPTV smarters app, which is what a lot of people use on android/firestick.

A new Apple-TV app for IPTV is IPTVX. It's being enhanced almost daily.

Not provider app... You can use GSE smart iptv or IPTVx which recently launched and being worked on weekly. Almost all providers have M3U
