Xtream Editor Question

by gaspipe1

Long story but will try and keep it simple.

I have list A set up on my parents box. And recently found a new service that would be a better fit for them. I created a 2nd list (List B). I have already edited List B and would like to transfer this to List A remotely.

So I would like to:

  1. Back-up List A as a new list List A v .01
  2. Copy List B onto List A (remotely)

In the end my parents should be watching List B (labeled List A), I should have a copy of List A (as List A v1.01) and a List B.

Thanks in advance!

What you should have done is made a merged list with 2 providers in.

Save it on Xtreme editor and then remove the other sub so only one remains.

Then add that merged m3u and epg to their device. When you do this you can edit the merged m3u subs etc and any changes take effect when they update their m3u.

if you imported them via m3u i dont think it is possible as most m3u list have user credentials in each stream url, i could be wrong tho!

are you just trying to avoid having to re-do all the epg id assignments and such? does the service support the xtream api?

cant you just add the parents XE box ID code thingy against the new list in XE? Copy it out of the old list settings, paste into new list settings, next time the box updates it will download list b instead of list a
