Having issues using iptv Smarters app on firestick 4K

by iffiamj

It doesn’t matter if I use the iptv Smarters app, or any iptvs Smarters branded app, when I’m clicking through channels , it just decides to not connect to a stream any more. What I have found is that the built in player has this issue. If I select VLC as a player, it’s flawless. But what bugs me is that why does the built in player keep failing on my firestick. I tried hardware decoder/ software decoder, resetting the firestick, used different iptv services but all of them have the same issue with Smarters, has anyone experienced this before ? What’s the work around!

I’m experiencing this issue on tivimate built in player as well

Download this and install on your device and then in app settings choose this as the player MX Player instead of the default player.

MX Player Pro v1.10.56 Patched AC3 DTS https://www.mediafire.com/file/cgmky2g1mv1mg48/MX_Player_Pro_v1.10.56_Patched_AC3_DTS.apk/file

The default player is not that good I don't use it. In Mx Player settings enable HW+ decoding.

If it uses exoplayer that will be the reason. Try changing the m3u to format m3u8 rather then ts

Your iptv provider is european ? Because the firestick 4k have a bug with the iptv sources in h264 50hz. (European tv) It s ok on european tv uhd source and h265 !
