Firestick 4K + Stb Emu.. 4k channels freeze

Question

Hey,

I just got a Firestick 4K and installed Stb Emu and my IPTV service is Diablo. I've set up the STB Emu to be Mag 254..

I can watch normal and HD live channels and prerecorded 4K movies (from videoclub) just fine.

But when I go in the 4k live television channels section I can watch a channel for 3 seconds and then it freeze completely and I need to restart the Firestick.. What could be the issue? I tried multiple Stb Emu version.. I tried all different video players (mvp, exo, jsk, external.. etc) I reset to factory the Firestick 4k.. I'm losing patience.. is there any solution for this?

Should I install something else instead of Stb Emu?

4k is is generally hard to play no matter the device. And even if the content says it's 4k is it really 4k?  Best to play the non 4k version of the feed if possible.  I have services that has 4k content but the issue is on the server side so no matter the device buffering still occurs. Anyways bottom line is that there are many factors and I  would not rely on IPTV to watch 4k content.

Use Plex and a device that isnt rate capped. ✌️

Check the Firestick 4k specification, you wil be surprised that firestick is limited to 25-30mbs Mbs on 4k content. Yes 4k works when you watch 4k movie on amazon prime, but bitrate is nowhere near real 4K.
