Merging XStream API/M3U w/ EPG + VOD + Catchup

by Semtex333

Hey All,

So I am looking for a way to make IPTV a little easier and less bloated for my wife. I currently have 3 providers. The providers have VOD + Catchup + EPG, but also have tons of stations I don't ever use (foreign, etc). I am looking for a way to merge all of these into a single set of stations with only the ones I want in the lists.

I have seen XTream Editor and xTeVe, but was curious if there were other options.

My goal is to have a single app with all of the stations we like from the 3 different providers... maybe different categories for each provider or channels with a label for each provider if there is overlap. E.g....

"USA News - Provider 1" ... or "CNN - Provider 1".. etc.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Tivimate. Has one lot of favourite channels in one group for all your providers

TiviMate Pro and this is a good, cheap M3U Editor . (Like $10 one-time payment)

You can give a look to /r/iptveditor or https://iptveditor.com .

There is also a free version if you want to try.

IMO the best free M3U editors are ERD and Tantrum. ERD can recognize groups which makes it easy to remove entire foreign channel sets. Just load the first playlist then drag in other playlists to merge, delete groups you do not want and presto you got a custom playlist with all your providers. Got to give a +1 for tantrum for it's delete duplicates option. EPG's will be the hard/messy part, I would load your custom playlist into an app like perfect player which will allow you to add multiple EPG links one from each provider.

Perfect player can load all your M3Us and EPGs. It has a built in group manager so you can delete the sections you don’t want.

Xtream editor is the best all round solution for what you want to achieve.
