Currently, my subscription from a reseller (no idea which one, parents bought it and they're clueless) is going to end by today and I'm looking for a new iptv for indian channels and some cricket as well. Doing a little research, I have a hang on how this IPTV stuff works but if I do sign up for another subscription and give them mac address, will my set up box automatically begin showing the channels provided from new subscription provider? Meaning, I dont have to anything from my end except giving the mac address?
No, you need to set up the portal address in the box settings. You can go there now and see which service you're using. The portal is a web address.
If you decide to stay with the same service, it might be tricky because your current reseller might not release your MAC from the server and a new reseller won't be able to sign you up.
If you go with a different service, then no issue which reseller you choose. You just need to go into settings and change the portal address.
