Kodi is going to give you the most freedom and features, but can be complex depending on what you're going for.
I agree with a couple of the other posters, I use TiviMate for live and IPTV Smarters for anything that requires pause/play/ff/rw features.

I use iptv smarters only for the replay, catchup and vod, but it is not very fast, it has always to reload something every day. For this reason for "Live channels" I prefer to use TiviMate and for the rest I use Iptv Smarters
