Update: Synergy had someone contact me and walk me through the install process. Strong value prop so far, will update soon.
The service seems great on paper, but I can't figure out how to load my free trial on my firestick. I wanted to try the m3u format, as opposed to a stbemu setup, so that if I end up needing multiple connections in my house, i can do that well.
The only tutorials / help they have are through discord servers. I can't seem to log on to this discord server. they don't have a website or pdf tutorial for this. seems a little odd, but anyway... if anyone has a review, that would be great. or should i just ditch this service because of this discord thing being the only help offered?
Synergy just PM'ed me and had someone walk me through the install process over gmail chat. And by the way, the service is awesome for the first 5 minutes i've had it. no buffering and streams open very quickly. I'm using simple player, branded synergy. i'll try to comment/review when i've used it for a reasonable amount of time.
