Latest Beta - allows for recordings / series link on programs, i.e repeat daily, weekly, monthly.
Still cant watch and record a different channel, but can record, then press home button and watch whatever else in normal android ui.
All depends on your budget, what you want from a box etc, user preference will always differ.
You paying for MOL2, if want that interface then it will suit you.
But do not buy if wanting 4k official apps or apps without airmouse etc.
MOL2 is the USP.
Only what I want to say is that for the price it is not worth it, I think there are better boxes for a better price
100% Yes. It's way faster than the z7+. No issues here.

I'm yet to have an issue on my z8, I've had it a month and have had mytvonline 2 has stopped responding, but I click wait instead of close and it works right away so no complaints my end, I've both z7+ and z8, boxes are identical but z8 is faster and has mol2 so well worth upgrading. Hope this helps.
I have a coule of questions. Did the z8 improve on the lag that the z7 had? Also does pandora and Netflix work on this box.
Great app for iptv (MOL2) the box is bog standard tho if you're just after one for iptv and the odd movie via kodi or another apk it will do the job but dont expect performance from this box people buy it only for MOL.
I still cannot believe that neither of these Formuler boxes(Z7+ Z8) have the ability to re-order your favourite channels.
To be honest just for a cable experience is great but to expensive yes for the. It has a lot of issues with other apps my main issue was but plex and Netflix . I have returned mine and I gotta shield tv
