DISH Sues Hosting Company & ‘Pirate’ IPTV Customer

by ShawnDex

"US-based broadcaster DISH Networks is suing yet another IPTV provider in the United States, but with a twist. In a lawsuit filed at a Delaware federal court, DISH claims that East IPTV illegally retransmits its channels via the Internet. However, the broadcaster is also suing East's hosting provider, for failing to respond to numerous takedown demands."

It's just a matter of time before companies start going after subscribers too. Use prepaid credit cards or BTC to pay for your subscriptions and use VPNs when streaming. Treat it like you would torrenting, don't end up on the wrong side of an expensive lawsuit.

I’ve always maintained that IPTV is living on borrowed time.

Lord forbid anyone actually look up the actual definition of the law and just make up their own assumptions.

Just because someone has been sued doesn’t mean it won’t get thrown out based on HOW THE LAW IS CURRENTLY WRITTEN.

“ The law, by far, is still unclear when it comes to streaming free movies online, or for visiting possibly illegal movie websites. When you stream a movie, your computer makes a temporary copy of the file on your computer.

So technically, you are briefly in possession of a possibly illegal copyright material. But for the time being, the law does not consider this a violation.

According to the legal assistance website, FindLaw, “Copyright Office contends there is no violation when ‘a reproduction manifests itself so fleetingly that it cannot be copied, perceived or communicated.’”

The authorities are not likely to come after you for wanting to stream Star Wars. “

Vpn is useless if authorities get hold of a resellers panel. It logs every minute that you and your subscribers are on iptv and what you watch. If they get an admins panel then then they have the whole tree of subscribers and resellers panels for every one using extreme/ . Admins can pull up ever extreme panel for viewing at anytime because it is all connected.

It is illegal in every country to stream copy written material No matter if it comes from the UK and u watch in the states. Some one owns those copyrights. Illegal is a funny term but it is theft no matter what you think. I keep a big magnet near by to wipe my drive and a hammer too with a couple of nails . Not sure if it will work but I am not going to make it easy for them.

Dish net has always been dicks towards "testing" and try these tactics to slow down illegal use.

Also some iptv admins are stupid and actually use their own web sites instead of a more non conventional method. Play safe Kids. Stay clear of any one who has a site that has iptv, that is the first place they look. Beware of resellers that sell on ebay, as they have already gone after preloaded Kodi companies and I bet iptv dealers will be their next target. They are so easy to find.

One shuts down and 3 more popup.

The title of this is misleading. First off it never says anything about suing a IPTV customer. They're going after a box seller and hosting site that ignored many takedown notices. Fearmongering for sure. Box sellers and resellers are who they are really going after and VPN won't do shit to protect you. They're looking for payment information.
