I would advise reading through the reviews on Play for Smarters Pro, and gather up all of the user suggestions that have been made for new functions or improvements, if the Smarters Author doesn't want to implement them, then you may as well use this information in order to add them to your product to gain the advantage and make a good product even better, in fact read through the reviews for all similar apps to do the same research - loads of freely available feedback and information on what people would like to see for you there. Personally when it comes to a Smarters product i'd like to see a way of backing up the settings and provider information, like STBEMU has, in case you want to re-install or set up another box(es) with multiple services. If you can at least find a way of stopping the adverts when the premium version off the App has been purchased, then you will already have a huge edge over Smarters!.

As mentioned by someone else, it's not exactly an original design. It's also not even a particularly good design, in my opinion. But then again, I prefer the Mag layout for TV. Not so fussed about VOD.
