Android tv problem after oreo update

Hello I have Sony android tv, i was using GSE ip tv app. Now i get Oreo update and Boom! when i start watching ip tv and vod getting hardware decoding fail or playlist errors couple of minutes. I tried another apps for ip tv player but same problems. My ip tv runing normally in my pc and my phone, but Sony tv crashed. Could you please help me? (Im not using free ip tv)

U able to go into the settings and change the hardware decoder? I know u can with the smarters app? If you cant Just change the app your using

I am not sure but it sounds like you need to reinstall the app and avoid the update if u can. That is what I would try

Sony android TV is awful.

Save yourself the headache and get anything else. I've got a 4K stick and it's night and day better.

solved. i connected 2.4 ghz in my router and problem solved. Sony Oreo update crashed my 5 ghz connection.
