If you’re paranoid about being caught you can be tracked down with or without a VPN so it doesn’t really matter.

If your ISP throttles your connection for things like this then yes use one.

Necessary? Not always. Recommended? Yes. It depends how much you value peace of mind but it's only one piece of the puzzle.

Imagine the service you're using gets in trouble and is injunctioned and sued. Typically they're offered deals to lower their liability by giving up their user list, sources etc. Would you feel better knowing you were behind a VPN the whole time using a fake email address and paying anonymously with Bitcoin or a burner credit card? I would. But not everyone is as paranoid as I am.

If you're in the UK, you should 100% use a VPN at minimum.

No its really not. Not at all unless your ISP blocks your IPTV provider. Everyone on this sub says to use a VPN to protect their privacy, but in actuality it is not needed. IPTV is not a torrent and your information cannot be seen by your peers which is the opposite of torrenting where everyone connected to that torrent can see your IP.

this depends on your provider of internet and where u live. Certain places in the States for example have small ISP's that do heavy monitoring and throttle connections, even for heavy usage of legal streams like Hulu, Netflix etc and a vpn will help but changing vpn locations often is needed.

The other reason and to me is for peace of mind. For 2 or 3 dollars a month for peace of mind is not too high of a price to pay but the bottom line. It is your choice and no one else so if u make a choice to not use it and things go side ways, it is all on you and no one else to blame
