Has anyone had luck using the toshiba firetv edition? It’s a tv with firetv built in.. it’s for my back porch on Sunday’s just wondering if it is capable of running iptv (dream streams).. figured I could save money as opposed to buying a tv and a box to go along with it
I have the 43 inch Toshiba Fire TV 4k UHD model and it runs IPTV Smarters and XCIPTV just fine. I have subs with Fire TV IPTV and Eternal and have no issues watching content with either service (with IPVanish as VPN.)
It is like having a 4K Fire stick built into your TV.
The TV quality itself is mediocre. I have an 8000 series Samsung SUHD TV that blows it out of the water but cost 10x as much.
If you consider that a 4k Fire stick is normally $49.99 and the Toshiba Fire TV 4K UHD is anywhere around $250 depending on sales, that is a $200 budget 4k TV.
Don't expect $2,000 4k UHD quality and you won't be disappointed.
