ALL DEPENDS on what your needs are. If all you want is Decent USA Coverage with a great looking Guide and so so channel quality and 20 bucks is fine for you, then it's good. If you need more than that, then it's NOT good value ;)

Well the least we can do I to recommend a service not just say gears is no good.
In my case I use tpk, I download the apk on my tv and downloaded the app on my iPhone, I’m able to watch without any buffering on live tv.
I’ve had some buffering on VOD, especially on new movies.
Other than that’s its cheap I pay 5 bucks a month, I think price went up to 8 now.
I’ve used other services but honestly they aren’t too good.
I’ve watched like 5 PPV boxing events with out any buffering.
