When I stream any IPTV servifr via my Nvidia Shield or Firestick 4k, it is slow & choppy. When I stream through my phone, it's flawless. Any ideas?
Both on a wifi connection. I tested my connection at both devices & it's approved up to 8k streaming.

What happens when you hardwire the Shield?
Another possibility is the WiFi - I had an issue on my 4K firestick where streaming on the 5Ghz WiFi was terrible but on 2.4Ghz it’s perfect.
Which apk are you using? Do you have video hardware decoding enabled?
I have tried gearsreloaded, DStv, beastTV, couple other ones I don't remember.
It use to be always good, now it has shit the bed.
Also works fine when running through Kodi on the laptop. Something about the Nvidia sheild doesn't play nice with IPTV
I have the same problem on the shield and it’s extremely frustrating. Wired and hardware decode enabled, tried multiple iptv apps, 4K, 1080p, 24, 59,xx and 60Hz. It’s never smooth, choppy all the time... Kodi plays 4K hdr content without any problems.
If I go into smartiptv directly on the tv, it’s also smooth. Just on the shield that it doesn’t work well.
