Any Provider That’s Asks You To Use A VPN, You Are Dealing With an Amateur.

by fooali

ISP blocks have been around long enough now that providers know what tactic is being used to block EPL games. If they can’t circumvent this you’re better off going with another.

The min they say use a VPN it tells me I’m dealing with someone who’s incompetent in IT and I cant trust anyone like that.

The search continues .....

If we gave out awards for dumbest post of the year this is probably the front runner.

The real amateur is you, not the IPTV services. It's clearly you don't know what is ISP blocking and why this happens.

What a stupid post.

Question - Why does everyone think it's the providers responsibility to fix these issues?

The service they provide works, the servers are up and the streams are online but it's YOUR ISP that isn't allowing you to watch it.

A good analogy is your drive to work - on the way there is an accident ahead so what do you do? You take another route. Imagine the destination is the provider the ISP is the road you take and the de tour is the VPN. Would I call ford if the road was closed because of an accident - no so why should suppliers fix it?

It's all on users end and especially in the UK a VPN should be mandatory now. I don't even get the arguments for not having one.

OpenVPN for android app and some VPN apps like PIA offer per app VPN

Third party routers offer VPN support some even do per device VPN for those people who still have mags and smart TVs.

Like it or lump it that's the way IPTV is heading and in a few years I reckon VPN will be required a lot more - you can bet the NFL and looking at the EPL block with interest.

Sorry for the long post but I think people really have to stop this nonsense on providers fixing it when it's not there issue in the first place it's all on the user side.
