What to choose between an Android box and an Amazon Firestick?

My main criteria is to be able to watch live Premier League games with English commentary and maybe some Indian channels (not that important). What would be a good choice for me to get IPTV on my non-smart Sony TV?

I'm unsure which either. Most of the cheap android boxes won't be able to use all the non-iptv apps made for tvs so firestick or android tv devices have that plus

In my opinion, don't get any android box, get an Android IPTV box. Formuler Z8 is a great choice.

Just bear in mind that Firestick is

  1. Running very limited hardware
  2. Using old versions of Android (with only few updates)
  3. Does not support Play Market
  4. Does not run Android TV limiting tons of new features specially build for TVs

So if you ever have a chance, I'd recommend selecting Android STB, running Android TV. Nvidia Shield is by far the best option, Mi Box S is a more affordable one.
