Some newbie questions

Hey guys,

I’m new to IPTV after many years of using Kodi for all my needs. I’ve been working though some trials to find the right service for me and right now I’m also trialing the free Tivimate version to see if I like it.

I love the simple interface and I think I’m going to buy it, but I have some questions first

  • the epg is missing some channels. How do I go about getting the most detailed epg? I want as many channels detailed as possible.

  • how many IPTV services can I use on Tivimate? Can I load several playlists and change between them easily?

  • I need an external player for catch up, right?

  • I have an external hard drive, how easy would it be to rig it to record?

1- If you are missing some EPG, you will need to update it with a third party source like Xtreme Editors. its like 10$ yearly. YOu will be able to fill in the missing EPGs.

2- Many, they load into groups.

3- Not really you can use default player or use VLC/PLEX like i do.

4-Tivimate doesnt support recording at the moment.

TiviMate 1.5 supports catchup - not sure about the external player.
