Chromecast

Hello, bought IPTV yesterday, but for some reason the chromecast doesnt work, it just says "failed to load video" it worked the first couple times but not anymore, I am pretty green about this stuff and got no clue wat to do. Since my TV is Hitachi there is no IPTV apps for it.

Chromecast is not ideal for IPTV due to the format of the stream links not being supported. You are best to get an android device (firestick, shield, formuler box) and load an IPTV app on it.

Solar player lets you easily pass off your stream to VLC

As .ts (iptv video) files aren't supported by chromecast, transcoding has to happen. The only decent implementation of transcoding is in VLC for Android.

Just get a firestick 4K for a quick solution. You can always invest in a better box later on, but the firestick 4K is decent for the price. Plus, you can go buy one almost anywhere.

  1. download lazy iptv.
  2. load m3u list.
  3. select channel you want to watch.
  4. open with "localcast" (also download this)
  5. there you can cast from phone to chromecast

it's a work around and works with DNLA enabled decides like Xbox, tvs etc. 🤟🏻

For Android IPTV Extreme casts to chromecast out of the box. Bonus, it also records content fairly well. For IOS try GSE IPTV. Not as robust but also casts natively.
