Folks - looking for some advice - is there any suggestions on Windows software for recording streams?
Seems to be plenty of Android stuff but my Fire Stick doesn't really have storage space and my home server is Windows based.

Emby has a IPTV plug in you can record shows with in TS format.
VLC also can record in TS format

use bluesstacks its is an android emulator run your apk with that

Can schedule recordings as well.
Saves to local PC hard-drive.
Plex (with paid Plex-pass) and Xteve let you set up a Live TV & DVR device with grid-guide to view and record (in realtime or scheduled). Recordings are placed in the Plex (local or network-) storage you want.
Can get an adapter for firestick that allows expandable storage. Then get a sub and app that allows recording
