XE does it via the api line import.
It is not the iptv service but the device u use to watch it. If you have to use smarters pro or a rebranded smarters., then that is manual. My dreamlink t2 and t3 auto download epg automatically. My nvidia and firetv 4k don't because they use smarters. I have not had a chance to to try trivi mate and iptvpro for guides or the other 3 or 4 players out there yet. I used to use stbemu but lately if the service is more than 3000 channels the guide takes forever and there is buffering.
