My iptv service doesn't offer an m3u playlist

by bgross7201

I've been experimenting with different service providers to see which ones work for me and I have a couple who offer m3u playlist which is great when I want to use tivimate on my android boxes and gse on my iPhone

I signed up for a new service recently and they only offer access through their rebranded smarters & xciptv apps which are cute but I prefer to use a player of my choosing

Is there a way to create a m3u playlist with limited information like the username, password, and server name I know I would need a port number for xtreme code api on gse

You can try some default port numbers like 80, 8000, 8080 first, since it might be the ones used.

As long as you can watch iptv over your network, you can get the m3u for each channel no problem.

Google something called an “m3u sniffer” or iptv sniffer or anything along those lines and it will bring up programs that you can install on your network and whenever you watch an IPTV channel you can “sniff” the m3u url of that channel, put it in notepad, and save it as an m3u file, then put it in whatever program you want to use for iptv.

If you’re on your iPhone, make SURE you’re using the WiFi network that your m3u sniffer is on, otherwise it won’t be able to give you the m3u url of the channel.

Check for a netstat application for your android box.

I have the same issue. I use ology tv and its great.. but I have to use their smarters app. I would prefer to use Tivimate...If anyone has found the m3u... Please, let me know..

Did you ask the reseller for the info you need? Some services do not allow resellers to give out m3u lines and to only use custom apps. If you're caught using a non custom app you line can get disabled.

http://(server:port)/get.php?username=(trial)&password=(test)xxxx&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

This is usually how it works on how to get m3u playlist.
