Just a suggestion - when in EPG and looking at the preview of the channel, pressing the channel again should open channel in big screen instead of just reloading the channel.

Do you all not understand this app just came out yesterday? There IS gonna be bugs and shit. He even states in the the message when you open the app. Instead of bitching and complaining......why don't you all just explain your issues and let him work on the future updates.

One of your first followers here. Two things:

1. I have 4 TVs in my house so the 2 device limit per account is really inconvenient. I'm sure this is true for many people. You should raise the limit to 5 like TiviMate.

2. TiviMate doesn't require you actually use the companion app, you just need it to manage your subscription. You don't actually need it to sign up or activate. I have Android TV boxes but my smartphones are all iPhones so this is a problem with your app.

Really love the app so far but these two things are deal breakers for me.

When the channel is in preview why doesn’t it go to full screen when you press ok button, also could you add an option to increase font size and also some kind of icon to show which channels have catchup

Just bought this...excellent work, runs great on my Shield. Something you might consider: Have the info bar automatically disappear after a certain time frame, I haven't setup my Harmony yet but I would think there will be better control over the app if used. Also I installed Aptoide but the app never came up in a search? Sorry, one other thing...how do you exit out of VOD? Thanks again!

Crashes my z8 constantly. As in box fully reboots. Gives me robot sounding audio before it happens. Also if you bring up settings menu while it's loading channel list you can't close the settings menu is just stuck on the screen.

Since this is intended to be used on normal Android boxes and not Formuler, the magic question is.... What remote is the best remote to use with this?

Suggestions:

1. On a Shield remote control when I press up or down right now it has a same function: showing channel group. Instead of this it would be lot better when I press "up" to switch to the next channel and when I press "down" to show the previous channel.

The best solution for this is to have remote mapping in the Settings.

2. Pressing back twice or press and hold the back button to be able to close the application.

Purchased and up and running on a firestick. First impressions. Great job dude! Playback and changing channels is snappy. EPG loaded quickly and accurately. I tested record feature which worked great as well. Catchup didn't seem to be working when I tested, but not too worried about that at this point. Can get around using the firestick with no problems. With future improvements this app will definitely end Formuler devices for IPTV use.

The app randomly for closes and it always for closes when I try to go into the settings menu and when I try to go Into VOD category. Just waiting for those issues to get resolved and support for custom m3u link and custom xml link gets added so I can buy the premium subscription.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Im using it on a xiaomi mi box S and I tried with multiple iptv accounts. I also tried clearing data, cache and I even tried reinstalling it.

Now here are my suggestions and bug reports which I think they are important:

1. Suggestion: Pressing back and hold or pressing back twice should exit the app.
2. Bug: Selecting external player from the settings still doesn't work. It simply shows only ExoPlayer.
3. Suggestion: Pressing "up" on the remote should go the next channel from the list, not the previous and vise versa.
4. Suggestion: When you open the channels list, pressing "ok" on the selected channel should be able to open full screen, not reloading it.
5. Suggestion: When you open any channel group, it should be able to scrolled up/down in a loop. Imagine when you want scroll down to the last channel, instead of that you should be able to scroll up and it will take you to the last channels. This feature is must have.
6. Possible bug: When you press left, it will show the channels list and I see here the logos are all black/white, instead in color.
7. Bug: Closed Captions doesn't work.
8. Bug: The signal quality (when you press channel info, the blue squares from right) doesn't work at all. It always shows two of three blue bars.
9. Feature request: Subtitles.
10. Bug: on Ultra HD channel that uses 3840x2160 resolution shows (SD) instead of (UHD).
11. Bug: Some audio codec is missing. For an example on a channel with 5.1 I don't get any sound. On other apps the sound is working fine.

Looking forward to the next update.

Tried a couple more cheap remotes today with color buttons. None of the color buttons are recognized by Android despite the remotes themselves pairing and working fine. This makes me believe that the dev wrote in color button functionality specifically for Formuler boxes and this is not supported on any other brand of box. Pretty disappointing. This color button functionality is pretty crucial to how the dev wrote certain functions in the app so it’s very handicapped without a working remote.

Has anybody used this with an otg USB cable on a firestick to increase storage for recording? Just wondered if and how it works.

Need an update to fix many issue with formuler box! I don't know what's the issue but it seems to be non compatible (premium version)

3- when pressing Channel up or down, the channel is changed but info bar display the same infos of last channels.

When you open specific channels group and you scroll down to the last channel, when you press again down, it won't go at the beginning at the channels group. That goes vise versa too.

Please add the looping scrolling, it's important.

Just paid for the app. I'll have a good play with it over the next week but first impressions are positive. It clearly needs some work but real users will be able to offer their feedback which I see is already happening. I think it needs to be better adapted for firestick type remotes as this can be a massive target audience. I'd like to see an option to have a virtual mac address for adding a provider. My best iptv provider will only use a mac for subs and I'm sure there will be others that are the same.

u/implayer_iptv problem and bugs with formuler seems not to be fixed with this update. loading stacked many times on 83% then app crashed.also and if this step is successfull (not all the time) when checking setting, the box itself reboots! please provide us full details what happens with our boxes (Formuler) or say that's not compatible at this moment

How would you use a tv remote with a Android apk

So when using this on FireTV has anyone been able to select an external player from the VOD settings menu. Mine shows current player =() and when I click to select the screen goes darker but nothing pops up to select. Any ideas?

I tried the app, so far it looks great. I understand that is in first stages of development, hence I dont expect everything to work or be available.

Here's a list of features I would like to have;

1. Able to schedule recording using a shield remote or firestick.

4. Support to record on NAS, I tried tonight but it failed. When I choose recording folder to be the NAS one it failed because of permission.

7. Use local m3u playlist.

Since update v1.3 i can finally log in w/ xstream codes and get EPG but now can’t change external player in VOD or TV show settings sections, so cant play any movie or tv shows ;/ any help ? (VLC installed)

Gonna agree with the white text issue, hard to see if there are light colors in the background of the screen.

App is getting significantly better, really the only major thing stopping this from being the daily driver is no xtream-editor urls. You get that working I think you’ll have the best iptv app out there.

hey u/implayer_iptv , just some notes on a few things (repeat post but I think it got lost in a long back and forth thread we had yesterday):

using firestick remote, while watching a channel I press the firestick menu button and I get menu. I then go into settings and then press 'back', nothing happens. Press 'back' again, and I go into the older style EPG viewer. I then press back, nothing happens. Press back again, I go back to live TV

So:

1. we shouldn't need multiple 'back' presses as described above.
2. when in settings, a back press should bring me back to the 'menu' screen, not this older style EPG view (why even offer this view as an option?)
3. when in menu, a back press should bring me back to live TV (this is how it currently is, but I seem to remember there being talk of having a 'double back press to exit app' function and although I agree with it, it probably doesn't make sense to implement that functionality while the menu is showing since there is an 'exit' option at bottom of 'menu')
4. using firestick remote, there's no current way to 'return to last channel'. Thought: currently while watching TV, if you press 'back' on firestick remote it brings up the 'old style EPG'. Why not have an option for the user to choose only one EPG view (i.e. the old style or the large EPG view with preview in top left). By getting rid of one, you can now use the firestick 'back' button to return to last channel and use 'left' button to view your choice of EPG (old format vs EPG with preview in top left). I really dont think we need to have these two EPG formats
5. (i think this is a known issue) when im watching TV and press menu button and then go into settings, my firestick remote actions are often not recognized for ~10sec or so. Update: if i press 'back' while in settings AND THEN attempt to move up/down within settings, it works. It seems that I need to press 'back' first while within settings in order to have capability to move around in settings.
6. watching TV, i press up or down (to bring up channel list on left side), if i then press left to see all the groups, it automatically goes to the top group rather than staying on the current group (minor bug)

That's it for now, I'll have more suggestions later :)

Okey new free version installed on mibox 3 still some channels don't have sound and I can't turn on subtitles on some channels who have subtitles on other apps. Then how do you exit the app I need to use the return to home screen button to exit the app.

This is great I just bought premium and I may be imagining it but the picture quality looks better than I normally get. I use a logitech harmony remote with Nvidia shield and unfortunately the colour buttons don't work but I can live with that. Two questions though

in the settings I can't move to launch app at device boot, play channels at "preview mode" and a couple of others are these not added yet?

Also I can't move past change left click at full screen to main EPG in the settings unless I keep pressing up and then it goes to the bottom of the settings menu but I can't back to the top after that, is this a bug?

Many providers use the channel's name to describe the sports event etc..., but will have no information in the actual EPG guide for those channels. I noticed in iMPlayer when in EPG mode, you see the preview window at top left and the show information from the EPG on the right. It would be nice to include the name of the channel in that top right window in addition to the show info, so we can read the event name (from the channel), since the entire event name doesn't fit in the EPG. I attached a photo to show what I'm talking about.

Downloaded the app and side loaded into fire stick. Runs to the point where I can input a m3u_plus and epg links. Then tells me this is only available in premium.

Ok, no problem. I download companion to purchase premium and it will not let me create an account. Enter email and password (twice) and just tells me it failed to create account.

Anyone else set their playlist to automatically start getting problems? I set my playlist to auto load and it worked a few times. After a while (on 2 firesticks 4k with 1gb internet connection) Neither would auto load the playlist. The playlist just hung there, didn't even go to the percentage loadup dialog box. I took the setting off and manually choosing my playlist worked. Am I the only one that has had that issue?

Currently in the Settings this section: On playlist load do has only one option: Play first channel.

I hope you add "Play last opened channel" option in the next version.

I just installed the premium version of this app. Only the first channel of the first group will load. My m3u links work correctly on every other app I've tried so I'm not sure what the issue is. App works like a champ for that one channel though.

On Shield, was ready to get the premium but I trialed it and the stream freezes after a few seconds and doesn't continue on every channel (I don't have this issue on Smarters or Tivimate). Also the button mapping on shield is confusing.

Okay so after the latest update it appears to run on Amlogic based boxes, still a lot of freezes on streams that otherwise work fine on other apps but I’m sure that’s just issues on the fix list. I still however cannot get the companion app to work, have tried the latest version on many devices including 3 different emulators on Mac and Windows. After seeing the progress and promise with this app I’d be willing to pay for premium to help support but unfortunately cannot until the companion app is working.

After Reading a lot of comments i Can see that everybody enjoy the app. I would too but it seems there is freezing problem with european provider. I'm on i-play tv and i can't watch any Channel, they are all freezing after 10s. Any help ?

Only things I've noticed, no way to get back from going to VOD and VOD doesn't work for me, tried a few player's, which breaks IPTV

Have tested more. Can I suggest maybe a create page where ppl can vote/suggest future features and another to report bugs? I see some great suggestions here, but I know they get lost in the threads and ppl start suggestion the same thing.

For instance, here are things I think would be beneficial

1. You added setting EPG recording for Firestick/Shield by pressing the center button. I think in EPG mode, when you scroll to a show you want to record, you should be able to click the center button which a dialog box could pop up that has show info and a recording button in there.
2. If you do put a dialog box that comes up when you click on a show in the EPG, it would be nice to add padding to the recording. Many use DVR for sports and need the ability to add minutes (sometimes hour) to the end.
3. If you do get that dialog box pop-up where you can add padding, it would be cool to have Record Series etc... as options.
4. I clicked record on a show in the EPG to test, but there was no indication that the show was set to record (or at least i didn't see any). It did record, but I had no clue (might have showed up in the recorded section, but it was in there before it started)
5. I like that while watching a show (full screen) left click makes EPG come up (some may not prefer that) Right click shows last channels played. It would be cool if those last channels are in order of last played. Right now, the channels opened stays permanently there. So if i try to open the first channel I started with, it doesn't move the the front of the list.

I know these have been asked a few times, but here goes

1. Ability to record to a windows server (win 10 computer) or NAS in the network
2. Use Xtream Editor (or non traditional URLs)

I hope you understand many of us are so excited and have nothing but appreciation for your work and we are only trying to make the app shine. It is definitely on its way to be a true competitor.

I have a bit of a newbie question. I am used to using an M3U line with a separate URL for EPG data as my iptv method. My IPTV provider gives me a choice of EITHER M3U or access to a MAG type box. But not both together. AFAIK, if one uses a MAC code, that is what MAG boxes do, so I am guessing this would mean I'd have to choose between running this app and being able to use something live VLC player on my desktop computer? I would like to be able to watch on my PC as well as on my android tv box.

Hi, nice start, and the app looks really good, i took the premium subscription.

However, hereunder fews bugs noticed or features that would be nice to implement:

1. Possiblity to switch to another channel using number on the remote
2. Switch between channels using the +1 or -1 chanel button of the remote
3. When navigating using EPG, time is stuck and does not change according to the time of the program
4. It is hard to navigate when going to the settings menu (have to press back sometimes to be able to select something). Some bugs with remote buttons
5. Top frame in vod section not in correct format (picture is stretched)

Continue to update your app and it's gonna be amazing!

I bought the premium version yesterday & i am very pleased how it works allready just after the release.

I have just one issue on my shield. When playing a vod movie i have to select an external player. I have kodi and vlc installed. They show up in the list, but i cannot select an app to play the movie.

The app is on the way to being one of the best, I think these will bring it much closer. Also, sorry for the redundancy, thought it would be easier to list this than have random comments mentioning the same thing over and over.

Hi, Sorry but the app crashes on start on Formuler Z7+.

I was able to install it in one tv but app freezes when I try to submit payment, second TV implayer immediately closes after opening.Im trying hard to try this app but its getting to be not worth the time and effort.I do like what I see in the free version but im unable to buy it.

I installed on my device and the companion will not allow me to register. Used the test account to verify I can sign in and that worked.

Things that can be improved/bug reporting

1.Exo player cannot play some audio types example what my soundbar reads as DD on tivimate I get no sound on IM player. Maybe due to tivimate having the option of audio passthrough?

2. Epg is sometimes wonky with the times ect but for the most part it's decent. Will maybe post video or pictures to explain further later.

3. When watching a stream. Pressing ok then going into channel list, it lists the current group wrong up top and on some channels it does not show a current program playing on the left beside the channel even though if I look to the right it has something playing at the time.

Just updated to 1.1 and am playing around with it. Really great first stab, but it's SO BUGGY. Basically unusable, but still really awesome. I paid so the dev has an incentive to continue fixing bugs.

Hi, I have just purchased full version. I'm really liking the design and layout of this app.

Just a quick few bugs I've had using on Nvidia Shield TV...

• The record function doesn't work at all. Force closes the app as soon as I press it. I have tried changing the default folder to another one & changed the buffer size to big but that made no difference.

• I can't get the EPG to load any information. I have tried 2 different providers and it doesn't load anything.

• clicking on the channel in the EPG just reloads the preview screen rather than going full screen. I'm sure there's a toggle somewhere because if I click around enough it does eventually load the full screen. This isn't very user friendly and a single click on a channel in the EPG should always load full screen.

• I'm unable to change the Live/VOD players. Clicking through the settings shows the default player in a bubble from the left, but then just hangs, as if it's trying to open an app store or go to a list of pre-installed apps? But never loads.

*Once the VOD is loaded I can't find any way to exit out without force closing the app via the recents menu.

Anyways, keep up the excellent work, this app already has some great potential.

I look forward to future updates.

Got to say thanks for all the constant updates however the load to playlist ain't working have enabled but sits and does nothing Also as fast as the updates are the audio codecs must still be messed up as plenty of channels don't have audio I've also tried the affected ones with another app and all have sound

Thanks for the latest updates the app is improving every day, next update has to include ok button to enter full screen and please add an option to increase font size it’s a huge issue for me, thanks again and keep the updates coming. Also favourites folder clears after restart so no point in adding channels to it

Would it be possible to add a feature where we could rewind and fast forward what we have watched/cached? I mean that it caches what we watch live and we can rewind up to the point that we started that one show or if we pause and want to fast forward up to the live version we could. If we leave the channel then we lose the cache and it just starts fresh with the new channel. Basically like a DVR. This is really the only feature that I am missing besides harmony remote mapping to make me switch completely over to iMPlayer.

Has anybody else got the issue with favourites not being saved after you close and restart the app?

Anyone get the color buttons working? Tried setting up with my rii mx3 remote but no luck. Even tried to map them to random buttons and not working. If not is there a remote that’s working for anyone else?

Nvidia shield user reporting in. This app is AMAZING! I have been using iptv on the shield for over a year and since then I am looking for a usable iptv app, (tivimate simply doesn't cut it for me). I'm in love with this app!!! But I understand it's still beta (alpha!?) my suggestions would be to add support to harmony remote as most people that have shield have an harmony remote (so I'd say more than 50% of your user base) and add a way to pay via PayPal or something easier. Also I would suggest you to create a subreddit dedicated to the app, as it is getting lots of attention. Good luck and keep up the amazing job!

hey u/implayer_iptv any update to plans to provide better support for firestick remotes? Huge installed base out there, I think it makes sense to better support this remote. Little things such as using the 'menu' or '3 lines button' to bring up EPG (instead of the left side menu which it brings up now). Could always get to the left side menu another way (an icon within EPG view for example). Long press on channels within EPG view can bring up options such as recording, etc (since we dont have the colored buttons).

Found a bug when you go to channel list the channel freezes an goes black but can hear sound,also since choosing the option to channel surf up or down i cant go to the simplified channel list view.

An option to hide groups in VOD would be good as well. My provider has VOD from a lot of countries , the app is working well on my shield since last update

I got the apk from the web (and installed on my mibox) but then the app wont connect to the m3u/portal when i try to. It says i have to install from aptoide. But i cant find implayer from aptoide... How do we change the group in full screen grid epg? In mol2 is will show the epg based upon what group you are currently in in the mini or classic channel list. But currently in the full grid epg it shows your full all channels group.

Found a bug where if you connect via xc it takes your username as the portal name and you can't name the portal like you can in m3u.

Will give this a try later tonight, I’m a big fan of tivimate but it’s great to have some competition.

I found a big issue when watching something on live TV. Long pressing the center button should give us the play/pause, captions audio and subtitles options. Now only play/pause and captions are shown but captions don't work. And after trying to enable the captions the app freezes completely. In order for the app to work again, I have to go to the home menu of the box (Mecool KM3) and reopen the app. Please add the subtitles and audio tracks. Thank you.

Is there a cheat sheet for all the buttons? I didn't realize you could long press the left button for different results. Center button I read about. Just saw long left. I know you can change some actions.

Still taking my channels a long time to load , at least 50 - 60 seconds and thats everytime , the same channels load in about 10 seconds with STB Emulator or IPTV smarters... anyone else with that issue

Tried sonytv and shield, just crashes on latest update, m3u gets to 9% then crashes, xcode login just crashes straight away

I have 2 issues right now:

1. After a few seconds the channel stops. No audio and the video pauses...
2. I cannot choose any external player for the VOD or the series even if I bought the premium license.

Guys, please help me. So I got android TV, I got the companion, paid 10 dollar, added the mac of my android sony TV. Go to the installed app of iMPlayer on my TV and then it says add playlist to continue... WHERE DO I GET THIS PLAYLIST, IT WOULD REALLY BE NICE WITH A GUIDE?!

Apres test voila mes retours qui j'espère seront lu ayant payé 9 euros.. Xiaomi mi box 3 Fibré et serveur premium -Bug sur toutes les chaines apres 10 secondes de visionnage.. -impossible de passer de la vod au chaines avec la télécommande de xiaomi mi box.. -les bords des côtes sont mal calibre cela mange les lettres des textes.. A small bug: When you press right, it shows recent channels and when you press back, it hides the recent list but it blinks for a second.

Absolutely nothing works. I put m3u8 playlist and epg,nothing works. Does not the list,and there is no option to change to other. player. Not happy. Paid $10

Looks like there's a bug in the MAC address handling. If there's a leading 0 in any part of the MAC address, it's cut off. This seems to prevent successful activation on my primary fire stick. I'm off to try the one in the bedroom right now. Will follow up shortly
