I noticed poking around wish.com that they have a massive selection of andriod boxes setup for iptv. I'm super new to all this but I'm wondering if this is a decent way to go?

A cheap one off wish I would stay clear of, as a owner of 2 Nvidia Shields a Firestick 4k I will always recommend a Shield if its within your budget. But if not, and your only going to be using it for IPTV, a firestick 4k will do the job, not much else lol, but it will stream IPTV. There are a few boxes inbetween though, Mibox being one of them in the mid price range. Just my opinion though, take it for what it's worth.
Stay away from wish.com. I bought a tablet from there last year, took 2 months to get and it turned out to be a plastic box with sticker numbers stuck to the front.
Some good iptv apps out at minute and seems like scheduling recordings isn't too far away so I'd say android boxes with expandable memory could be a better call over a firestick. Shield best option but not necessary just for iptv.
Stay away from Wish, period.
if you want a dedicated box go with something like a dreamlink Dlite which you can get for around $60 on ebay. I have been using it from more than a year and am happy with it. I tried IPTV apps on the firestick and android boxes but always had issues.
Stay far away from wish dot com, do yourself some good and review then purchase a firestick 4k.
