Missing a lot of channels

Hello, so my parents switched to this Mag iptv box while I was away for college a few months ago. Yesterday it wouldn't work for most of the day, it was saying there was no internet connection. When it finally connected a lot of the channels were missing in sports and English. I have very little knowledge about how this thing works. I looked at the settings and saw that there was a reboot option, would that help? I've already unplugged and plugged it back in multiple times yesterday and once today.

Mag boxes are renowned on this sun for being a “box to avoid” as infomir is slowly disabling IPTV functionality on them through updates. Just an FYI they may have problems in the future if not the present.

Load the ‘inner portal’ from that settings menu. Inner portal is the control interface for the Mag as opposed to the supplier.

Check the network settings there.

Sounds to me like a provider issue.. they were probably down and came back on with channels missing. you dont need to change box.. just contact your provider

depending on who you get the iptv from, it could be a problem there end, and the reason why you can not conect is because the portal address they have given you is down

Go to youtube and search for it. Also maybe look into getting a better box, I recommend Formuler Z8 or Dreamlink T3 much more user friendly

Pm me I can assist you with your issue, you need to switch your current Iptv provider portal to a new one or simply ask your reseller to provide the new portal info.

These guys aren't giving good advice sorry to say. If you were being blocked you wouldn't be able to connect and see any channels. All services (providers) change their channel lineups all the time.
