Newbie alert, questions and rants.

So, I've spent some time looking into service providers and I've come to the conclusion.... What I'm looking for is impossible! Really, I think it's my weak GoogleFu. I'm looking for a service with PPV, mainly for the events as VOD is better than random movie play times. An android app for my H96 box that can record future events. I work shift, and I miss a lot of fights! The American /Canadian /UK content is great! However, I don't need 30 other languages or countries. Not that these aren't just as important, they're just cluttering up my selections. Price, everything I've read about the expensive services is the same as the inexpensive. Some just suck, and some will pleasantly surprise you./rant I'm currently with Ok3, and I'm not overly impressed. However, I have had zero buffering - so there's that!

Any app and service suggestions? PM's welcome.

Recording through IPTV apps is not a reliable solution. As soon as there is something wrong with the feed it will cut off and stop. A dedicated IPTV box, or a tvheadend would be a more reliable solution, but is not easy to set up (you will also need storage for that no matter which solution you pick). Maybe instead find a provider who has catchup on the channels you need, or puts the events you want to watch on VOD afterward. If you don't want specific country groups you can always ask your provider to remove it or do it yourself in xtream editor. For service suggestions go here r/iptvresellers as it's against the rules to ask for it here.

Ask your provider to remove the categories you don't want.

Check out Jarvis. That's basically all you are asking for.

Currently been dubbed for 4 months and been more than happy with the service. Just do a search here or on iptvreviews for Jarvis. They do trials and all.

Sometimes, you’ll need to subscribe to more than 1 service to get EVERYTHING you want. I’m currently subscribed to 3 that total $17/month. Combined I get 4-day catchup lots of 24/7 channels, a huge VOD library, sports replays, sports, PPVs etc. Pretty much everything I would ever want and if a channel goes out in one, then I have 2 backups. Also, you can hide categories you don’t want to see in Tivimate. That’s what I did for the ones that are in languages I don’t speak.
