As I understand it, smartstb is the only way to get iptv on a Samsung smart TV without resorting to firestick - I'm sure I'm wrong and someone will tell me here!!
Anyway I bought the app on lifetime sub last year. I'd prefer the menus to be a bit more friendly and more like sky TV epg guide (UK) and more friendly way to search for movies etc.
What are my options for getting subtitles and better menu for epg?
Epg is down to your provider really if they have a sucky epg (as in the content) then you can either change provider of r use a third party service
If you talking about the look of smart stb then your stuck with how it looks, i find it ok if I’m honest not like sky but it gets the job done.
I think if you want a better experience you would be better either as you say going firestick or maybe spending some cash and getting a proper box like a formular
I seem to think there is an android app that has a pretty decent interface but cant remember what its called although it is mentioned in this sub quite a bit
Subtitles on the smartstb i have literally never got to work i think that feature is maybe more for VOD and is reliant on the srt files being uploaded with the movie/tv show
