Reseller question

by avery853

A local guy that i know is a reseller, i would never get his service as i am extremely happy with the 2 i have. The question i have is, is there a way to figure out what service he is reselling without asking him? This guy sells one connection for 25 and 2 for 30 a month! Thats ridiculous!

You can charge as much as you want if people are willing to pay it. Nothing ridiculous about it

People like him were at our state fair selling IPTV boxes which shocked the hell out of me seeing as the SBI is right down the road from the fair. I wasn’t into IPTV at the time so I could never even go up and ask what service they were using, but I definitely will this year. They were selling connections for $30/month as well.

It’s the same with IPTV ads on Facebook. I used to get ads for this Swoop TV which was $24/month and was absolute trash during the trial I had. That’s what got me interested in seeking out a better IPTV service and then I found this subreddit.

Why is that ridiculous? Buyer beware. People are willing to spend that much so let them. It's up to the buyer to know what's out there.

But to answer your question. How are you going to get any info without taking to the guy lol. I guess you can make a fake email and get a trial or pay for a month? Then you'll know the url? Or just ask the guy what he sells then Google it?

I've seen worse. 1 connection for $35 and 2 for $55. There's a reason why these guys are local resellers. They like an ignorant client base. That being said, if they're selling at that price, someone's buying at that price.

And to be honest, that's made me want to sell to more local people as well. If they can sell it for that much, how many clients can I get at my much lower prices?

I'd ask for a trial under a different e-mail. He'll probably be instantly skeptical, as I'm sure that's rarely asked for. They most likely deal with clients in person or over the phone.

Look for the url link in the server settings and google to find out which service its connecting to.

Do you have the url for m3u or pprtal?

As far as getting the url, i know the services i have are from resellers and there url is the name of the service they are selling, not the url of the service they are rwselling..i hope that makes sense

Any reason you don't want to ask him? It seems like an easy ask, "hey I am currently thinking of using this service" (if you don't want him to know you already use IPTV for some reason) or "hey I am currently using this service for IPTV, who's services do you selling I would like to know if I ever plan to switch" type thing...
