How do you find out who is a provider, and who is a reseller?

I am interested to know if there is some source of this info anywhere - and if possible which resellers link to which providers.

It’s a long shot it know, but thought I would ask.

I am using an IPTV service and want to find a backup service that is using a different provider and not reselling the same service (and therefore not providing any backup in case of iptv failure or slow connection quality)

Is it all trial and error?

Use iptv smarter on Mac. It will tell you what the main server address is. For example, nitro has nitro.ltd and limitless has lltv.xyz. Get many trials as you can, login in with xc the resellers provided and see what their main server addresses are

One quick and easy way is to look at the port number on their M3U Playlist URL. For example http://anydomain:83 is likely to be Helix or one of their resellers. Common ports used by IPTV providers are 25461, 8080, 80 (or no port number), etc.
Lots of different providers will use the same port, for example many different providers use 25461. So not a one to one mapping but it gives you an easy starting point.
