So I've just come across IPTV and it seems kl, but I'm still yet to find out where or how I can get EPG.
Also could someone please explain what else I could be doing to further explore IPTV, etc.
Any little tips or tricks would be great

Most provides will include an EPG in the playlist link they give you. Just change the "get.php" part of the address to "xmltv.php"
Most providers supplied epg are flaky at best.
Try IPTV-epg.com or xeev.net(formerly xtream editor) for reliable epg info. Both are paid services. Xeev being the better of the two all round.
